Weekly Contests are open to kids, teens & adults. Unless otherwise specified, entries can be emailed to email@example.com or sent via Facebook messenger to the library.
Yoga for Youth
Monday June 8 | July 13 | August 10
Join us Facebook Live for an hour of yoga with yoga instructor Christina Michelle Yoga.
June 7 – 13
Use your imagination to create a picture of what reading means to you. Use materials laying around the house.
Chalk Art Contest
June 14 – 20
Chalk the sidewalks with pictures of your favorite books or book characters. The library will be passing out a limited supply of chalk.
June 21 – 27
Make a library themed video and share with the library via Facebook messenger.
June 28 – July 4
Show your patriotic side by decorating your windows and/or doors for the 4th of July.
Canvas Art Contest
July 5 – 11
Grab a canvas art kit from the library and enjoy a relaxing time painting. One kit per family.
Virtual Library Spirit Week
July 12 – 18
Follow the daily theme and send us your pic! Every photo shared means an entry into a raffle.
Sheflie Sunday – Take a selfie with your bookshelves, collectibles or DVD collection!
Mindful Monday – Do something relaxing like yoga, color a picture, or even take a nature walk.
Team Tuesday – Show off your favorite sport gear!
Wacky Wednesday – It’s time to be silly! Show us your wackiest hair or socks!
Throwback Thursday – Rock your favorite fashion trends from the past.
Bookface Friday – Make a work of art using a book cover and yourself!
Superhero Saturday – Dress up as your favorite superhero. That includes community heroes!
July 19 – 25
Look for a list of items provided by the staff. Take a pic and send it in.
July 26 – August 1
Download or pick up a puzzle template form the library. Read for 10 minutes and color in a section of the puzzles. take a picture of the puzzle and email it or drop it off to the library. Limit 5 entries per family.
There will be Facebook posts most days of the week. Each week will start with a guessing contest. You will have all week to guess. Only one guess per person. Winners will be chosen before the next contest begins. Prizes will be mailed to the winner.
